When you were Rose's shepherd, could you sense where Shadow Fiend was like you could with everyone else on Rose?

Yes. She was dreaming, spirited away to what I heavily assume is the same resting place as Lyra's mother.

..Not yet. And it happened without warning, where with Shadow Fiend, I felt the sheep still in the midst of carrying her away as soon as I got the staff.
