No. Doesn’t work that way. And it melts off, if you take an aggressive action. Good for ambushes, or if you tie a tether between all your involved parties, I suppose.

Use it at your discretion, then. Tie a sunflower to yourself before we leave, or keep it floating next to you. Their natural sunlight repels the beasts more effectively than artificial or magic light.
