Haha. Do you want the long answer or the short answer? The short answer's gonna make you tell me to die in a ditch again for sure! On it, on it! Uhhh. Wow, where do I even start?

Oh, right. When I first arrived here, I thought this was all a dream! I even slapped myself and got pinched by Crescendo and slapped him back which I still feel bad about and none of it worked, obviously, but even then, I still thought it was a dream because it was all too crazy to be real! I'd never seen a gatordawg until two days ago!

And my Shifting accuracy sucks here. It really, really sucks. I can't even Shift things whole half the time, so if I get too startled I could split someone in half! I heard that people here don't like that. I wouldn't, either, so I get it, but I can't help it! It's such a weird thing, knowing how to do something and knowing that you know, but then when you go to do it it's like the strings that connected point A to point B were cut and you see where they were but can't do anything to fix them!

Aaaanyway, long story short, I met Blossom and she screamed at me and I screamed back and then Stormy appeared and threatened to kill me and then walked off which made Blossom scream more, and then she told me that I could travel through shadows but I wasn't meant to, and immediately assumed that I was going to start something bad even though she was the one that kidnapped me in the first place! And then I thought -- wow, this might be real. If it's not, then I guess I just wake up as if nothing happened, but that's for future-me to worry about. If it is real, then... it kind of sucks that nobody trusts you just for having a black collar, no matter what you say or do or how ignorant and overwhelmed you are, but it what it is. It's not like home is any different. Home is worse. I still want to go back. But after that disastrous encounter with Blossom, I realized -- I can't get back just sitting around, can I? So I went exploring. If I'm stuck here, I might as well try to gain leads on how to stop the stupid war back home. How to stop the Angel.

I fully and completely expected to be treated awfully! But then I met you. And even though I hurt your friend, you were so nice to me and all I managed to do in return was get you embarrassed by Lady Faith! But, um, how do I say this -- I knew as soon as you revealed that you lied about what you were that you were a cool guy. Lonely. Protective. Afraid of being hurt. Afraid of seeing the people you care about getting hurt. You were willing to wound me with that light show because you thought the Snake sent me to toy with you, didn't you?

I know someone like that. They didn't want to be friends either, when we first met. That's fine. We started as allies because we had the same goal.

For what it's worth, I'm glad we met. I hope Torment's okay.
