Rose Barn common room features such interesting sights as: A barn wall that's been covered over with chaotic chalk writing, Some very red very plush sitting furniture, Horribly chintzy but comfy cherub pillows on that furniture,
and an Angel Devil sitting up to attention, setting a little basket of thorns to the side and shooing vines away. ]
That time already? Alright, before the door lets all the warm out...
[ in the section that's all Angel Devil's writing, there's complex sigils with notes and crossed out phrases; a few no, try:'s, stray letters and words in an unrecognized language with looping characters. a very rudimentary chalk drawing of the pasture from above, with some spots checked with x's. some bits of math. ]
Depends. Potentially messy, or no? If not, let's not bother.
[ If he weren't concerned with various crises he might try to analyze the text. As it is, he finishes closing the door and steps inside, fishing something small out of his pockets ]
No mess is expected. If you are prepared, then I will initiate the task.
[ In a smooth motion, he holds the grenade out towards Angie, pulls the pin with his free hand, and waits a few precise seconds to toss it in the air just before it bursts with a blinding white light that fills the room. ]
[ curiously, the light cuts off in a perfect 360° sphere from where it's gone off, as if some magical barrier hastily popped up to contain what he'd concluded in a snap judgment was going to make a damn mess if he didn't put a pot lid on it.
That sphere definitely included of Angel Devil himself, though.
he's assumed a more hunched posture, dazzled eyes covered when the flash clears enough he can be seen clearly, and his mouth is twisted up in a grimace.

[ ..he crosses his legs, and affects a thoughtful look, eyes completely off base for where Scarab actually is.
He'd neglected to comment on... whatever's going on there, not his circus, but the specific manner of speech, presented to him in absentia of image... hm. ]
Progress is acceptable. I must complete several more of Red's tasks, but they are simple. I expect to obtain supplies for a rudimentary alarm system tomorrow, and installation will be swift with sufficient volunteers.
It is. But as he possesses vast amounts more information than we do... If he was up to his usual tricks, I'd complain, but actually feel reassured.
He's no doubt getting a high volume of orders... ahh, if our attention wasn't better spared on twenty different fronts right now, I'd say now is the best time to pull tricks on him to glean information.

[ specifically because he's trying to teach a sheep to get the door when someone knocks that much now ]
Tah, tah.

it creaks slowly open about a qaurter, and a little tophat with a red sheep under it peers up through the gap. ]
Baa... Baa?
