[muffin sings quietly to himself as he works, sometimes humming, sometimes chirping. there's a few pieces of familiarity, like a music box tune or a birdsong from out in the pasture, but it's mostly peaceful aimless meandering.

The method takes advantage of a natural ability I possess, that I believe your flock's power to manipulate the dead will... make do in lieu of, quite effectively. Other magic IS involved when lacking other equipment, but... you all also have your resident gadgeteer, yes? Think he could make something that creates a temporary, sealed, highly humid environment?

You'll want someone who isn't particularly squeamish to learn first, and then evaluate that question. It's somewhat fatiguing a process to model, so I suppose...
Perhaps a one-on-one lesson first, with the canary, and then I'll do a second run with the expanded class.
