He would feel a connection between sword and wielder, and if that's how it works for them, be able detect a flow in energy from sword to Kara. The soul of the sword and the soul of the (not as human as he looks) man seem to share identical qualities... Are they one and the same, or is it an effect of Kara drawing energy from the sword constantly...?
He def would not understand the specifics of their relationship just by looking at 'im. If he had to describe it...
C..could this be a case of a spiritual symbiote...? But it doesn't seem like the sword is being parasitized, per se... perhaps Kara is an ivy, wrapped around a tree's trunk. Or a sword's hilt, in this case.
