It is my first day in this place, newly freed from the gods' cycle of war.
It feels strange. I do not remember everything that happened there, so I have a sense that it was both much shorter, perhaps much longer a time than it really was. I wonder if the others all understand I'm gone, or just think that I was killed, and will return again whence the cycle commences anew?
I wonder if Chaos could reach me here, to drag me back. The breath of life now within me belongs to him, so who knows if he would allow me to escape with it. I cannot imagine it would be hard to take me, considering the state of my new summoner.
It is frustrating that I cannot sign this with a name. If you read this in the future and do not remember writing it, I shall at least hope you can recognize your own handwriting - you worked hard enough to learn how to write your letters in an appealing way to do that for me.
