Shadowy poodles that only ever appear in pairs. Look for them on walls, in the surface of water, and also they will just pop up and be 3D Guys right when it would surprise you. They will parrot snatches of conversations characters have had around the Pasture to each other, snickering and barking about it in a way that feels distinctly like they're always making fun. It's not necessarily always just the linear conversation. They can kinda do the Michael Bay Bumblebee Thing.

At the end of the day before the sun completely sets and their shadows are no longer cast, Gossip Hounds are at their most common, replaying the day's Greatest Hits.
