There isn't any ground here from which she can summon vines, so instead they burst from her own chest, squeezing out from under her belly scutes. They whip around his throat and dig their spines into his neck, trying to strangle him back. It's not likely to do anything -- he's already bleeding out, and he can't be having an easy time breathing when his diaphragm is flying away in the breeze. But it's the principle of the thing!!! Can she twist his head clean off with rose vines alone, let's find out]
