DAY 2

Considering the events of Day 2, Angel Devil did not have a chance to write a diary entry.

DAY 3

Peace is but a shadow of death,
Desperate to forget its painful past.
Though we hope for promising years,
After shedding a thousand tears,
Yesterday's sorrow constantly nears.
And while the moon still shines blue,
By dawn, it will turn to scarlet hue.


As ever
I am but a vessel adrift on a sea.
At all times, I can hear them:
The threatening peals of thunder
The creaking of the hull, and
The splash of water, a gradual drown.

All seek to claim and in time shall
But for one day more comes
Red dawn, tearing cloud asunder
To watch me with a cruel and baleful eye
Dry out, weary, and less again, than each
Before.

DAY 4

The slight increase is privacy is nice. Got some halfway decent sleep last night for the first time since I got here. I've placed a seal on my door derived from the Valia Pira's design, keyed to a bloodstone I made from a trinket I got from Red. I'd prefer something with a little more value, as magically conflating my very own blood to a little corner store toy feels quite unseemly. But I suppose beggars cannot be choosers.

Clover's shepherd is an annoyance. Our shepherd remains an annoyance. But overall, today was uneventful, besides the brief diversion of the cat's machinations. 'Lighthouse.' Ha. It's a better word than just crystal, I suppose - I always disliked the potential for confusion, between just another storage crystal, and an actually important one.

Also. I am attempting to teach the common red sheep to do tasks. Basic gathering and transport of objects should be a decent start, right? Even the most malfunctional Black Mages could do that.

DAY 5

Today Blossom has left the pasture for a time, to do who knows what.
Her parting gift was some sort of overly-complicated derivative of telepathy, a power so granted to all of us, including the locals.

A new sort of creature has stirred from the earth as of this morning.

DAY 6

'Astral projection,' she called it? Blast that horrid sheep! If only I could remember more clearly, but - however blurry, I know of what all was shared, it was an absolute embarrassment of secrets.

I'd almost forgotten how much I loathed the sound of that clown's voice. Isn't that silly? It's been mere days. I'm getting too comfortable here. It could happen at any moment. Who's to say this isn't all some foolish dream in and of itself?

Additionally, some matters of note.
There have been arrivals and departures, among the Rose. The 'President' has departed, and our new shepherd is the Shadow Fiend. The Emperor (not Mateus. In case you forget: MATEUS WAS NEVER HERE.) and his motley of screaming passengers has been gone, for some time now. As has "Zorn and Thorn."

A youth has come to us, as well. He has taken the name Floyd. He acts familiar, with some of the other people in the pasture - I do remain lucky, to be without familiar faces. I don't know what I would do if we were all saddled with the clown. Kill him, probably.

The cat nearly got himself killed last night. It was close. I don't know if he understands how close. I feel there's little point in trying to impress it upon him. He seems to me a cautious creature. Whatever he really did to come by that injury, it was for a reason.
