I'm saying he's been wearing some absolutely overdetailed and overlayered fancy Rose outfit, which means Angel Devil has plenty of literal material to work with when he slips his hand out of Muffin's, puts some space between them, and starts undoing pretty shiny buttons and ribbons like he's a delicate sexy puzzle box with an hourglass figure, rather than the extremely methodical, no prevaricating way Muffin had seen him disrobe literal days previous. this is. still methodical, you could say, except. the method is profoundly different in aim.

thanks for bearing with me hopping over to inbox solely to open with saying "yeah angie's not getting into that tub without making an extremely extra strip tease out of it". ]}

Yeah, there's— fine.

[muffin is comfortable with casual nudity, but that sure doesn't mean he's immune to a strip tease. and not even just for the nature of the show, though that's certainly gotten his attention. there's theatre in it, as admirable as a dance or any other performance.

When he's almost done, down solely to wine-red stockings and a white button-up undershirt left fully unbuttoned to flutter around as he moves, Angel Devil does... pause, thoughtfully... before he reaches down to stroke at midair. From the point of contact, his long, silvery-violet tail starts to fade back into the visible spectrum.

It hangs low, occasionally doing slow left-to-right swings, as he sloooowly pushes down one stocking, eyes now carefully monitoring his audience for the first time in the show. He is considering something. ]}

[Muffin hadn't started the water when they first walked in because he wasn't sure if angel devil would still want a bath after reading the letter, but now there's an extremely naked angel devil and that's gotta be for something.

he starts from his reverie and hurries to start the bath, laughing]

Muffin's lightly joking about the thorns and laughing. That's a sign. He likes that sign. Talking with him-- he feels like he's following after his own trail in time, from the words tumbling out of his mouth to the implication of time between past event and present.

He wonders how much he gets to keep. He wonders why this interesting thing between them is so... resilient, where entire days were washed away.

He draws over to Muffin's side, because it is a waste of an extremely naked Angel Devil to just be all the way over there the whole time instead of pointedly right there. He reaches into the tub, to splash lazily at the nice hot water... ]}

...Every Rose has its thorns. _{[ splish splash ]} But... I know I'd far prefer to only bare them with you when it's fun, not just because some demon said jump. I do remember we talked a little, about...

The feathers Muffin had seen coming in with stress barring, that morning by the lakeside, have grown longer. The past might have fallen out of Angel Devil's memory, but the signs of it happening are all still there, farther along the shaft.
