_{[ guess who was sitting contemplatively by the fountain with a coin, when a certain sheep practically plows into him. Sheep Fiend bounces harmlessly off of the Auto-Protect, but who's to say for whatever the little darling was holding? ]}

disappears into his own shadow, appearing in the fountain's, one arm outstretched in an attempt to catch the stray black coin. alas, too late.

a voice rings out. his voice, in the murky waters of the fountain.

"Do you wish for oblivion, Angel Devil?"

it's a short scene that plays, hard to follow without context, but suddenly there is context, a merciless torrent slamming into his mind from behind a dam he'd almost forgotten was there. ]

[ his eyes widen, a silent scream tearing itself from his lips. he passes out. ]

[ five minutes later, he stirs, left hand immediately reaching for his head as he attempts to push himself upright. how's Angie doin ]

<sub>[ that five minute break gave him time to wonder 'huh what fang, how do I know the cat has some kind of a death knife in him, did I know that earlier today?', and also move Akrinak away from where he'd beaned his head on the fountain on the way down. There's still a little trace of blood on the stones.

Akrinak wakes up laid out on some nice soft grass, except his head's resting on something soft and mammal warm. Nothing stops him from reaching up to feel his head, though-- actually, Angel Devil leans back, so that he's more out of the way of his former flockmate's stirring.

fellas is it gay to have a man's head on your lap whilst you concentrate on pouring healing magic into him in a steady current in case his Damage Over Time soul tooth is killing him again somehow

[ that attempt to push himself up? it failed miserably. he flops back down immediately. turns out having eleven days' worth of memories beamed into your head within the span of thirty seconds is yet another thing he's not built for.

was the grass always this soft? did it always smell like Angel Devil's perfume? ]
