Mmmn.. can we try something new? As much as I'm happy to be back, I don't... think I want to think of that scent, when I think of today... it's been so up and down. Don't want to ruin myself for it.

I didn’t plan it, but put lavender in the sea salt scrub and rose petals in the water. Didn’t plan it, but should go well together. More complexity.

[ the flash of surprise at the idea -- working over every part of him for him-- quickly gives way to a kind of giddy, fluttery anticipation.

and muffin can feel it . so there is immediately zero point in NOT saying yes. he would have said yes anyway. but he might toyed with him more about it first; made a show of considering his answer even though he'd made the snap YES decision as soon as he'd heard it.

[slides a hand down quetzal's arm to his wrist, letting him feel how muffin enjoys the smooth slide of soapy skin, following the slender shape of his arm like the curves of a sculpture. he pauses to admire how much larger quetzal's hand is than his, and how elegant his fingers are, the sharp nails that add flourish to every line and titter.

muffin lifts his hand and kisses his fingertips.]
